Swastikas are a symbol of Hinduism and have been in use for generations. Swastika Mantra or Swasti Mantra (स्वस्तिक मंत्र) is used for auspiciousness and peace.
While chanting it is believed that the heart and mind are joined , water is sprinkled with दर्भ or sacred grass used in rituals and this water is calming for anger and disharmony in life. The process of reciting the Swasti Mantra is called 'Swastivaachan' (स्वस्तिवाचन).
